Having trouble leaning, carving on one foot, legs feeling strained or cant plow stop without lifting your wheels? Changing your cushions will make a huge difference! (Really, it's not you. It's your skates). 

Cushion Height is very important for all roller skate plates! Please take the time to educate yourself on what heights your plates need, as this makes sure your skates perform correctly. We highly recommend the Cone/Barrel shape combination, even if Barrel/Barrel came on your skates. Barrels plateside provide stability, and cones roadside allow more carve. With the correct setup your skating will be safer, easier to control and much more fun. Skate like there is a tomorrow!

1 - Take a look at our Formulas and choose one based on your riding style. 75a or 80a in APS or 84a in KranK will be a great starting point for most riders. If you are into park skating we would recommend Harder KranK Durometers.

2 - Figure out what brand your plate is and check out our Brand Specific Packs. This is the quickest way to get what you need. If you are not sure what brand / name your plates are? Check out our Compatibility List and we might have listed what plate is on your shoe, as well as heights for less common plates we've encountered before. 

4 - If your skate is still not listed anywhere. Head over to our Heights and learn how to tell what heights and sizes you will need.
